The name Talwar means "sword" a word which is deeply embedded in the history of
India. The sword symbolises power, strength, and resilience. The
rationale behind calling this Indian Street Food concept "Talwar" is based on the
sharpness of our spices, and the presentation of our plates.

Murliraj Narashimaraj was inspired by the love of food from a young age. As an
adult, he pursued this passion by participating in various training and skills
development activities and courses to become the chef he is today.
Mohan Shanmugum
FOUNDER AND OWNER
Began his career as a Bartender at star hotels in India. Moved to the UK spreading his vibes of hospitality genres at all bistro and fine dine lounges he worked for. His thoughts behind "TALWAR" to spread love and taste of India across the globe.
